Because I always need yoga...and I sometimes need chips.


Hi There!

My name is Kim, and I am a life/food/yoga-lovin' yogi (is yoga-lovin' yogi redundant...?) based in Houston, Texas! I am an RYT-200 hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. If you put a bag of salt and vinegar kettle chips in front of me, I will house the whole thing in one sitting, #noregrets. I am a firm believer that life is all about balance. I have been practicing yoga regularly since the spring of 2014, though off and on for several years prior. I became a vegetarian in April 2014, and am now mostly vegan at home, and vegetarian when I eat out. It works for me, and I feel great! Oh, and 80s music makes me feel alive.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing with our dogs, practicing and teaching yoga, traveling, spending time with friends and family, eating good food, creative plant-based cooking, meeting new people, reading, playing word games, and being outside in the sunshine! I am a proud member of Yoga Alliance, Texas Outdoor Writers Association, and the Houston Food Blogger Collective. I have since retired my food blog, to put more of my efforts into this here yoga (and chips) one!

My objective is to spread the light and love of yoga to as many people as possible through my teaching. Yoga is so much more than the physical practice – It is a joyful celebration of life, a way of balance, and a means of enabling people to live their lives to the fullest. I value true connection with others, and through these connections and new relationships, I intend to share the gift of yoga! Want to know anything else? Just ask! :)
